The 2008 list of the 50 Best Companies to Work for in Ireland was produced by the Great Place to Work® Institute Ireland and published by The Irish Independent.
The Top 10 Companies are marked in bold below, but otherwise companies are listed in alphabetical order only.
PricewaterhouseCoopers secured the 'Best Company Overall Award' as well as 'Best Company' in the '1000 or more Employees' category. A further four awards were made to the highest ranked companies in the other size categories: Sigmar Recruitment; CB Richard Ellis; Diageo Ireland; and Unicarepharmacy. Six Outstanding Achievement Awards - reflecting key elements of the Great Place to Work(R) model - were announced for "Training & Development" (KPMG); "Work Life Balance" (Deloitte); "Diversity" (AXA Insurance Ltd); "Pride" (GE Commercial Aviation Services Limited); "Internal Communications" (Bright Horizons Family Solutions Ireland); and "Best HR Practice" (Ulster Bank Group).
